Marc Ó Cathasaigh

Marc Ó Cathasaigh TD was first elected to represent the Waterford constituency in February 2020. Prior to his election, he was a primary teacher for 15 years and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education as well as a Master’s Degree in Medieval English. He is a member of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Education and co-chair of the All-Oireachtas Group on the Sustainable Development Goals. Areas of policy research include the development of a Wellbeing Framework and the pursuit of a Future Generations Commissioner for Ireland.
