Dr. Seán Fearon

Seán is an ecological economist and postdoctoral research fellow at the Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity in the University of Surrey. Before completing a PhD at Queen’s University Belfast, he worked as a policy officer in the Oireachtas and the Stormont Assembly. His work at CUSP focuses on modelling scenarios for sustainable, high-wellbeing lifestyles in a post-growth future. In the coming months he will be joining the REAL project at the Barcelona Institute of Environmental Science and Technology, working on modelling policy scenarios for a Post-Growth Deal.
